Shelly Sharon
Is a singer-songwriter and storyteller, living in Ramat Gan.
In 2017 she released her debut album, produced by Erez Lev Ari.
The album brought images from the complexity of Israeli society and South Tel Aviv.

“My connection to creating music begins at the age of 28.
I studied social work, went on a journey into my inner world, and started writing a personal journal.
I received a guitar from a friend, took a few lessons, and wrote something that looked like a first song.
I wrote songs every day a daily routine for years.
The first sketches I recorded together with NIr Geva, a musician and creator, and from there the door to the world of creation opened.
A few years later I married Dror, and we moved to a shared apartment near the Central Bus Station in South Tel Aviv.
The environment was inspiring, full of intense question marks, and from there many of the songs for the debut album were written.
In South Tel Aviv, while doing my shopping at Shuk HaTikva, I met Erez Lev Ari, and approached him with a request to record songs.

In 2011 we began recording early sketches for the first album.
During that period I also became pregnant and gave birth to my first daughter.
After a break of a few years, I returned to work with Erez to continue recording the debut album.
The road to a first album was long, full of twists, meetings with musicians such as Shalom Gad, Noshi Paz, Gil Smetana, Uri Barak, and Eyal Katzav, who helped me move forward and complete the project.”
